What Is EBOO Therapy?
Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation & Ozonation (EBOO) Therapy is an innovative medical procedure aimed at enhancing oxygenation and improving overall health by pronating and oxygenating the blood outside the body. This therapy has gained significant attention for its potential benefits in various medical conditions. EBOO has become been known as the “intelligent” or “Cadillac” ozone therapy, as it hits the “sweet spot” with Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH).
How it Works
EBOO therapy consists of removing blood from the body and running it through a filter in a closed-circuit system. While the blood is in the filtering mechanism, a mixture of oxygen and ozone is delivered in a cross-current fashion, increasing the surface area of blood to oxygen and ozone exposure. A very low concentration of ozone is delivered directly to each blood pass while having the ability to treat a higher volume of blood (approx. 2 Liters), therefore the therapy is double the concentration of ozone one would receive with Standard and High Dose MAH.
After this process, the ozonated and oxygenated blood is directed through a quartz and silicone cuvette for Full Spectrum LED and Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation exposure. Ozone and Light have a synergistic relationship resulting in a a broader range of positive outcomes.
Following the light therapy, the oxygenated and ozonated blood is subsequently reintroduced into the patient’s bloodstream.
While not a new therapy, it also hasn’t been available to the masses until recently. It is still a specialized therapy and is available in multiple states and countries at an affordable cost.
Indications for EBOO Therapy
Ozone therapy aims to increase oxygen levels in the blood and boost the body’s immune response.
Indications for EBOO therapy are broad. These may include, and are not limited to:
EBOO therapy is also utilized in complementary cancer treatments. It has been shown to decrease side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as facilitate their effectiveness. Ozone therapy, in general, is known as a supportive therapy in chronic conditions and many allopathic practitioners have began to incorporate it into their patient care plans.
Preparing for EBOO Therapy
Before undergoing EBOO Therapy at Reddy Natural Medicine, patients must have a comprehensive assessment performed by a licensed healthcare professional. This evaluation includes a medical history assessment, physical examination, and laboratory tests to ensure the patient’s safety and qualification for the procedure. Patients should also receive detailed instructions regarding pre-treatment preparations, which may include dietary adjustments and temporary cessation of certain medications.
The EBOO Procedure
The safety and comfort of our patients is of utmost importance to us. It is important to eat a high protein meal within two hours and be hydrated prior to the therapy. Patients are comfortably positioned in a reclining chair. An intravenous catheter is inserted into two a veins, through which blood is withdrawn from one vein and then returned to another vein using a specialized machine. The blood is then exposed to oxygen and EBOO therapy in a controlled environment before being reintroduced into the patient’s bloodstream. The entire process is carefully monitored by trained medical personnel to ensure safety and efficacy.
Step 5: During EBOO Therapy
During the EBOO Therapy session, patients may experience sensations such as warmth or tingling as the oxygenated and ozonated blood is reintroduced into their system. These sensations are generally mild and temporary. Patients are encouraged to relax & remain still throughout the procedure to optimize its effectiveness.
Step 6: Post-Treatment Care
Following the completion of the EBOO Therapy session, patients are monitored for a brief period to ensure stability. Most patients can go back to their activities right away after therapy. However, healthcare providers may recommend certain post-treatment precautions or lifestyle modifications to maximize the benefits of EBOO Therapy. Follow-up appointments may also be scheduled to assess the patient’s progress & adjust treatment plans as necessary.
